  1. Grate carrots until you have 2 cups.
  2. Place walnut halves and/or pieces into an un-oiled frying pan. Turn the heat to medium and toast on either side until slightly browned.
  3. Add carrots and the other ingredients into a bowl and toss until the carrots are well coated.
  4. Serve as a side dish or snack!

Kid Chef Tips: Older children can help grate the carrots and even toast the walnuts with adult supervision. All ages can help measure, pour, and mix ingredients.
